He began his musical education on piano at the age of 6. | ||

At the age of about 13-14 he began his studies in the percussion class led by Professor Skowera at the music school in Łódź, and in the trumpet class with Professor Szejwałło. | ||
He founded his first band in Łódź under the name: | ||

At the age of 17 he went to Gdańsk, where he joined the Szeptacze band at the ŻAK student club. | ||
